Dr. Richard Zeff and Cindy Wrocklage (RN, CPSN) have received advanced training in the field of non-surgical aesthetic treatments. Facial rejuvenation solutions include JUVÉDERM™ XC Injectable Gel, BOTOX® Cosmetic, RESTYLANE-L, PERLANE-L, RADIESSE and more. Thanks to the addition of anesthetic to the products, we are now able to offer almost pain-free injections to New Hampshire (NH), Maine, Vermont, and other New England residents who are interested in our minimally invasive injectable treatments as an alternative to surgery. Contact our plastic surgery center to schedule an appointment.

It is recommended, but not necessary, to discontinue the use of any medications that may prolong bleeding, including aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDS) at least one week prior to any injections.
Derived from botulinum toxin type A, BOTOX® Cosmetic has been very safely and carefully prepared for medical applications. It is a natural, purified protein produced by the clostridium botulinum bacterium. BOTOX® Cosmetic injections at our Stratham, NH practice are administered in particular areas of the face where hyper-functional muscles cause facial lines to form, thereby relaxing these muscles and smoothing the lines.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple treatment that relaxes lines for up to six months. Our patients report significant improvement in the appearance of bothersome expression lines, such as the creases between the eyebrows and the crow's feet around the eyes. For many patients, BOTOX® Cosmetic is as important for prevention of lines as it is for facial rejuvenation therapy.
While only between the eyebrows has been approved by the FDA, there are a variety of areas that can be treated safely “off label”.
There are three injection areas to which BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered at our practice: the corrugator and procerus muscles (the frown/squint lines between the eye brows), crow's feet (smile lines located on outer corners of the eyes), and the creases across the forehead.
Although there are a number of possible adverse reactions, they are rare and unusual, and they are best discussed with us during a BOTOX® Cosmetic consultation at our New Hampshire (NH) center, serving Maine, Vermont, and other New England states.
The cost of BOTOX® decreases as the number of units increases. The amount required varies with the number of areas and the individual’s response to the BOTOX®.
Please contact our practice to schedule an appointment for BOTOX® Cosmetics.
Every six BOTOX® visits at our office earns one free area of BOTOX® at your seventh visit. There is a minimum purchase requirement of $300 of BOTOX® at each visit to qualify.
JUVÉDERM™ XC is an FDA-approved injectable gel made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. The smooth consistency gel helps to instantly restore your skin’s volume and smooth away facial lines, wrinkles, folds, furrows, and other visible signs of aging. The treatment can also be used to augment the cheeks or lips for a more youthful and more contoured facial appearance or a plumper, more sensual pout. In addition, JUVÉDERM™ XC’s cross-linked formula is absorbed by the skin slowly, which enables it to provide smoother, longer lasting results.
During the JUVÉDERM™ XC treatment process, a small needle is used to inject the hyaluronic acid solution into targeted areas on the face. New JUVÉDERM™ XC is infused with Lidocaine (a common local anesthetic) to improve comfort during treatment. After JUVÉDERM™ XC treatment at our Stratham, NH practice, there may be redness, swelling, bruising, bumps, or tenderness. This usually subsides within days. Patients can enjoy smooth, youthful-looking skin for between six months and a year after treatment.
With two formulations of JUVÉDERM™ XC to choose from, Cindy Wrocklage, RN, CPSN (Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse) Nurse Injector can tailor treatments to each patient’s unique needs.

Radiesse® is a dermal injection that consists of calcium hydroxylapatite suspended in gel. Because calcium hydroxylapatite is a natural constituent of bone, it does not elicit a chronic inflammatory or immune response. Radiesse® is injected just under the skin's surface to reduce the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles and improve contours by creating a lattice where the surrounding cells can be incorporated. Immediately after the treatment, there may be slight redness, swelling, tenderness, or itching in the treated area. If the discomfort continues or if other reactions occur, you should always contact your practitioner. The results of facial rejuvenation treatment with Radiesse® often last a year or more.
Restylane-L® and Perlane-L® are designed to improve deep wrinkles, frown lines, and creases between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds) and other areas of the face. These injectable dermal fillers can also be used to add volume and improve contour of the lips and cheeks, as well as to fill in mild acne scars and depressions. The difference between treatment with Restylane-L® and Perlane-L® and the original Restylane® and Perlane® aesthetic enhancement technique lies in the comfort level during treatment. The new incarnations of these popular injectables contain lidocaine. Now treatment is more pleasant with far less residual discomfort after the procedure.
Both Restylane-L® and Perlane-L® are composed of hyaluronic acid, a substance which occurs naturally in the human body. These dermal fillers do not require allergy tests before treatment. Using an ultra-fine needle, Cynthia Wrocklage (RN, CPSN, Nurse Injector) will carefully inject either Restylane-L® or Perlane-L® into the treatment areas. The entire procedure typically takes less than 30 minutes to perform, and most patients resume normal daily routines right after treatment. There will be some redness and swelling after the procedure, but this should fade over a few days at most.
Results from Restylane-L® and Perlane-L® can last from 6 months to a year.
