Kybella, a non-surgical way to improve your profile.

What is kybella?

Kybella is deoxycholic acid. Believe it or not, this is the same acid found in you digestive tract to dissolve dietary fats. When injected subcutaneously it can safely dissolve fat in unwanted areas.

Who is a candidate for Kybella?

Any patient with mild or moderate excess fat in the area under the chin and the neck is a great candidate for Kybella. Interestingly, Kybella can also be used off label for the treatment in other areas. This includes the jowls, bra roll, knees, and even hips.

How is the treatment performed?

It requires a series of three to four sessions of kybella to completely treat the area of concern. In each session the area is injected using a very small needle after topical numbing medication has been applied.

What can I expect following my treatments?

Swelling is good! You should expect quite significant swelling. This can be reduced with ice and antihistamines such as Zyrtec. However, swelling is a great thing. This indicates the acid is successfully dissolving the fat. You can expect less and less swelling in your treatments as you continue in your series.

Is Kybella Permanent?

Yes!

What are the risks to Kybella?

Main risks to this treatment are temporary nerve paralysis and small palpable lumps or nodules. Almost universally they both disappear at six weeks.

How much is does a treatment with Kybella cost?

Our treatments are priced exclusively in packages. This comes at a significant price reduction to the patient. Per vial pricing is not to your benefit. Please contact us: [email protected] for more information!
