What is a non-surgical blepharoplasty?
Filler provides excellent temporary camouflage for under-eye bags and circles. Dr. Wilson and Sarah Proulx specialize in this complex procedure using both the cannula and the needle injection technique.
Some specifics about the procedure:
Filler to the lower and upper eyelids is complex and requires a detailed knowledge of the periorbital anatomy. Given the highly vascular area temporary bruising and swelling is common and can last up until 3 weeks from initial injection. You should expect to be able to return to work immediately provided that you can tolerate the swelling! Often filler around the eye will require filler to the cheeks as well to provide a certain amount of blending between the lid and the cheek.
